Re: Patch Notes 30/12/2018

90% of the server is afk on bos and afk leeching keeps with not a kill to their name or group yet "NOTE: This malus affect KILLS ONLY, not zone or keep locks." I mean sometimes guys, you take one step forward and two steps back... Gotta be honest, finding it hard to be constructive with thi...

Re: RoRBuilder Recruitment

To anyone who might be interested, the whole process is relatively easy. You aren't really coding anything, just changing the text file. The rest of the tool will pull data out of .json and display it. As long as you only edit things inside of the "" most people could contribute. As for getting the...

Re: [MathHammer] Veszal's minmaxing tool

A while ago I wrote a script that parsed the gear set list into a json. I figure most of the stats aren't accurate anymore but the newest ones should be accurate. If you want I can send you the jsons.

Re: [ORVR] Brainstorming/Suggestions

As I stated packets is only part of whats drawing power, aggro system in general, all combat and other things also draws power. In a vacuum none of these things are an issue but when they all hit at the same time on the same localized calculation zone (thread) with many players then it becomes an i...

Re: Slayer Giantslayer Spec?

I have been playing 2H slayer with violent impacts for the past week now. So far I'm pretty happy with it even though I'm still far away from BIS gear. I feel like you're now a bit more burst heavy than the old spellbreaker spam. Which I think is a good thing, since dual wield simply outperformed 2H...

Re: [Implementation Feedback] Patch Sept 18 2018

I don't have anything to discuss this patch since I'm not playing these classes. Just wanted to say thank you that you make the effort to be more transparent on these changes. I hope you can keep this up in the future.

Re: WarEmu Translation Project

I did a testrun for the german translation yesterday for empire and chaos and added some translation suggestions for stuff that was still missing. Going forward with the translations I see some problems with maintaining consistency. For example quest descriptions often contain the name of NPCs or Ob...

Re: [General] Morale Damage

As long as there is direct morale damage I dont think morale shields would work because the defender would need to use them preemptively. An attacker could simply wait them out or shut it down with undefenable m4 knockdowns. I am also not sure if morale damage is even needed in this game. It was arg...

Re: Damage calculations

I wrote tool a while back in matlab to do magic damage calculations that works reasonably fast for a stastically significant amount calculations (1 mio+). In the thread I described the basic formulas I used and partly verified with ingame tests. Maybe take a look https://www.returnofreckoning.com/fo...

Re: What would it take: Queue for 6v6

Suggestions and feedback forum. What would make you queue for 6v6- all other discussions including complaints can go elsewhere. 1) More opponents and a way of choosing your opponents. Because lets face it 95% of 6on6 are horribily one-sided. Which gets boring for the winner and frustrating for the ...
