Re: Spawn camping
While I do appreciate pointing out more varieties of the same problem with my plan, I was actually more interested in the second part, that is, spawn camping with the current system and melee DPS only...

Spawn camping
While I was thinking over my idea to give an extra role to Witch Elfs/Witch Hunters in RvR , I realised there was a serious potential for an exploit in there, specifically spawn camping: a party/warband could move into the ground floor of the enemy keep when it's not under siege and kill anyone spaw...

Re: WE/WH and their ROLE in ORvR
WH/WE lost their role. WH/WE were originally the only mdps classes that could bypass postern doors. No other mdps class was able to do this. Old keep mechanic. Attacker gained morale via hitting the door. Defender's gain morale by being in the keep and the door being hit. At keeps it was easy acces...

Re: WE/WH and their ROLE in ORvR
WE's are fun to play in zerg versus zerg when it's more or less equal numbers. Pointy eared melting machine in bikini. The only annoyance it the bugged stealth skills that vanishes from the first skill bar once in stealth. :( Just to be sure, incase you don't know this: WE/WH get a different 1st ab...

Re: WE/WH and their ROLE in ORvR
Dance of Doom could be overhauled to do some sort of group buff perhaps to give WBs a reason to invite WEs? As far as I know, it's completely useless anyways since it does the same damage as Sever Nerve just channeled over 3s instead of instant.

Re: Whats up with SHs?
Presuming for a moment the OP isn't purely about trolling, SWs get a number of buffs to their stats from their stances that SHs with pets don't. They also get various benefits from pets that SWs get from their stances, such as the 10% increased range or the autoattack on the move (likely the most im...

Re: Patch Notes 21/10/17
After a few rounds on Beastlord today, I think the healing aggro needs to be toned down a little. We had to do absolutely everything - taunt, detaunt and challenge spam as often as CD allowed, Subtlety and Menace slotted, Clobber spam, no overheals - to keep the boss off our healer and even then the...

Re: Patch Notes 21/10/17
How does the healing aggro affect engineers with keg? I had the impression I had unmanageable levels of aggro today, even with constant Taunt/Detaunt. If you heal / overheal a lot of people you might have a problem. Yes, overhealing is a thing now. Engineers don't get Subtlety though. Or any other ...
