Our Story
The Oathsworn is a collection of three unlikely allies who have forged an Oath. This Oath states that while the forces of Destruction are joined in their dark Alliance, they shall set aside their differences and work as a united front. The Fifteenth Imperial Batallion, Clan Brumblebeard, and House Kaein are now know as the Oathsworn, a singular military effort to stand against Darkness.
House Kaein had a long history of political peacekeeping within the High Elven culture. They advocated many other House's to settle their disputes over a table of peace rather than intrigue or outright violence. Even during the First War Against Chaos, many of the House members stayed in their walls to ensure their home was safe. It wasn't until the rebellion of Malekith that the members of House Kaein prepared for battle. Their greatest foe in the civil war was known as House Felryth, having to battle against their mighty Blood Legion. The soldiers of House Kaein stood strong against their powerful foe, beating them back to their Dark Arks. Ever since that day, the nobles and soldiers of the High Elven House have repelled the Blood Legion from the shores of Ulthuan. During the War of the Beard, House Kaein found themselves pitted against the Dwarven Clan Brumblebeard. The once peaceful Elven host had grown ever stronger, showing the Dwarves many defeats. After the Phoenix King was slain, they fortified back into their home to continue what they could of their peaceful ways. It was not until the Age of Reckoning that House Kaein suited up for war once more, forming their Oath with the others.
( Subject to change soon as the Dwarves plan a new story! ) Clan Brumblebeard was a proud Dwarven family that was known for their fine brews, large rams, and beards that resembled a bear's hide. This is how they acquired their rather odd name, though they welcomed it with pride. During the First War against Chaos, the Clan stood side by side with their Elven allies, learning what they could of Elven cooking and agriculture. When they parted ways and enjoyed a time of relative peace with their Elven neighbors, the Clan continued to craft their wears. They grew ever jealous of the Elves, as they always seemed to look down on their Dwarven crafting traditions. While the drums of war sounded across the Dwarven realms, Clan Brumblebeard was the first to begin the roaring fires to provide food to their kin. With axe in hand and a song in heart, the armies of the Clan always sought a fight. Many campaigns waged against their home in Karaz-a-Karak by the Greenskin armies. Brumblebeard found themselves battling with the Orkish Clan known as the Gud Guttin' Boyz. A grudge has been held against this Ork Clan ever since. The War of the Beard erupted, plunging the Dwarven realms into warfare once again. During the conflict, the Clan lost many of it's numbers to House Kaein. To this day, the Clan has been licking it's wounds. It's former glory was never fully realized, though the new youth of the Brumblebeard name continued to show great promise. As they joined the Oathsworn, they have quelled their grudge against the House Kaein. The Dwarves still watch their back, as they do not trust their new Elven "friends".
The Fifteenth Imperial Battalion was formed just before the Age of Reckoning came into being. Seeing that the armies of Destruction falling under their alliance, the Empire tasked a new gathering of soldiers and priests to stand against the empowered forces of Chaos. They began their training and quickly became a fierce fight force for the Empire. Knowing their mission, they quickly dispatched to the battlefield. They were met with a Warband of Chaos known as the Undying. They suffered many casualties, falling far back to their warcamp before saved by the combined host of Elves and Dwarves who formed the current Oathsworn. Joining into the Oath with their new allies, the Battalion now stands beside the Oathsworn.
They now wade into the thick of battle, preparing to give their lives for the freedom of this world. The horrors of Chaos end here.
Our Goal
We are a guild very set in role play. We have a passion to get into the Warhammer lore and add a very good flavor to the content this awesome game supplies to us.
We do not require you to role play to join the Oathsworn, as we will still be a large RvR force on the server, we do ask that you are respectful to those who do.
