yeah , it's pretty smart to think like that:
No TOKS = vanquisher
Vanquisher Toks = invader
Invader TOK= royal (only in city ofc).

It's more like the ward system in pve, and can't force returning 70+ to that painfull fort farm cause they will drop invader too in cities

People complaining about a single gatekeeping mechanism in RvR gear line gonna lose their minds when they realize they have to run Gunbad/city/bs multiple times on 3 day lockouts just to do LV/TovL which will undoubtedly be mandatory endgame gearing even if you have full sov :pensive:

Invader ToK requirement isn't even that bad, it's just a bit slow and now that there are so many ppl online it kinda feels bad when you dont get into forts. Wish there was at least pity medals for ppl who sat in reservation que for 30+ minutes.

Kills in fort zones should drop invader meds. Only in fort zones so they will make all those who want invader participate there. And this means that in order to get a res spot you will contribute more to your realm in orvr lakes etc. Keep the ward system as it is but make it little easier and more interesting to paricipate in forts and farm invader meds only in forts. Maybe the 70+renown players drops them.

Do the devs see an issue with the current acquisition rate of invaders for rr70 and above characters? If so, have you considered adding Invaders to city bags for people rr 70+? Seems like it would be a decent compromise as you still have to put in effort in order to earn them ( From your previous posts on the subject* I've gathered the reason you don't want to allow exchanges is because you want players to still have to earn it ). You would also still be getting royals from city stages so the rate of acquisition wouldn't be particularity quick but would allow characters in this situation an additional route to progress on their invader sets.

the ward system is absolutely fine, its also fine grinding the previous set before you use the sov set.

What is not fine is the fact that once you are over 70 and dont have the invader set, the grind is actually made way way worse because the invader medal income stops for cities, this needs looking into, previous posters have suggested that bags have a choice of invader or royals , that is at least better than nothing

The problem with providing Invaders from City instances is that you can skip Fort content.

Invader rewards for Invader content.

If Invader dropped from kills, then the prices would need to be drastically increased.
The current cost of Invader is tuned around completing the content.
Completing content as an objective has an effect on deterring more toxic behavior as a static objective is really hard to troll and abuse.
It unfortunately has a side effect of salt generation, but we're more than capable of handling that.

This is something I could get behind. If you qualified for a fort and didn't get in, I could see being rewarded based on realm performance at the fort. Victors bringing back the spoils to share.

Of course players that don't qualify for a reservation get a special loot bag. Along with players that didn't accept the reservation as well.
