Launcher Disconnect Issue

I’m returning after a while of absence as I miss my old characters and was looking forward to see what’s changed in the interim.

I downloaded the game via the torrent link and that all went fine, but when I load the launcher up and it goes through the verifying process, it will complete it but once it does, it will give me an error that it disconnected. I’ll post an image of exactly what I get.

I have seen this issue posted before, but I haven’t seen any real solutions so far.
