No, it is not necessary. If you do not have any 6v6 experience your opinion will most likely be flawed or bias because you simply have not seen what good synergised players can do with certain classes when pushed to their limits with best specs and gear. To an average player msh might look like it's overperforming, the class sounds great on paper but in reality it is never used in serious play simply because there are much better choices. This is why this change baffles most good players, the devs are nerfing a class that was already underperforming.
One of my Teammates got hit for 9K Damage by MSH if that isn't Over-performing, I Don't know how to convince you. Yes 5 k was mitigated but that is a trifle excessive. No WC buff or anything like that we were in a keep Defending. Three of us got killed by the SH only one got the screenshot of damage. So yes it was broken and needed to be fixed.

Any Screenshots ? Did your teammates detaunt ?

Pretty sure he's referring to the multiplicative, unintentional stacking bug that got fixed, so the "lulz detaunt" argument wouldn't apply here.

spawn camping in SC is zerg play.

after first encounter ended at middle,
if left path was wc and right path was objective 90% players went to wc.
to trigger domination.
zerging wc to wc maybe pvp but poor one.

once you've secured objective area next step is playng objective.
that way defenders came out of wc and took defending position.
and new round start at there.
it's not different from sports.
offense/defense, rounds, formation, mind game.

you want to kill enemies inside wc?
then break siege and lure them out.
don't let them notice it was trap to kill. how? play objective.
it may take 30sec. or
you can spend that 30sec for zerg play at wc.
your choice.

The thing is...that doesn't actually happen in 99% of scenarios; once the enemy has been pushed to spawn, and realise that they are being outmatched quite convincingly in the PvP department, they'll idle away at the warcamp - even while you do the Objective. You'll get the occasional lowbie WH who will attempt to thwart your progress with the objectives, but aside from that the vast majority will simply wait it out.

Having to do the objectives uncontested for 10 minutes while 90% of the opposition AFKs is nothing short of comical.

What’s ‘such cc’? MSH has great cc, lest burst, and no heal debuff; asw has a disarm and heal debuff, less CC but more burst to get closer to WL/WE levels. And the ever popular double damage buff build for MSH has permanent armor as well from TA so there goes that victim card. Why do people continue to spout out misinformation like they’re facts?
ranged kd. mSH's pet dies pretty fast in aoe. So SH have to wait 30s or spec tactic to spam pets. SW's have only 5s cd on switching stances. Switch to 'quick shoota' analogue, KD/healdebuf, switch back to melee. Squig can't do same, casting squig armor take a time, have longer cd.

So what should be nerf on ddok is his dps because he can applie heal debuff on crit proc ? Should we nerf the WE dps because she has double heal debuff kd mez ? Plz. The ddok can and Will be shutdown hard by any range dps. He has next to no mobilitie and rely on other party member for any cc. He synergies well with other but hé his farm from being an overperforming class.
