Underperforming Tactics

Hey, this thread is about listing underperforming tactics of all classes without going detailed. Normally i should make a proposal of each tactic but simply i don't have that time or energy to design new tactic. If someone feels to make a proposal, this thread will be your best friend for brainstorm. Feel free to open "Underperforming Abilities" or "Underperforming Morales" too. Starting like this :

ps1: some tactics designed for low levels and pve, even with that they are kinda useless due to other avaliable tactics.
ps2: please don't start nerfplsty shitstorm.
ps3: please keep it short and simple if you disagree.
ps4: i'll merge your posts with mine if you follow the same template.
ps5: spec-able tree tactics will be colored.

Hastened Fear: Detaunt don't need a cd reducer 15 sc cd - 15 sc duration and 7 second of cd reduce of 30 sec ability is totally meh.

Manic Obsession: Makes Obsessive Focus avaliable every 20 sec, even with that other tactics shadowing this tactic.

Triumphant Blasting: AoE punt idea is ok ish in some kind of situations but the range is too low.

WITCH ELF:


Sharpened Edge: Low Damage, meh agaist deftard melee classes.

Broad Severing: Low Damage -%10 damage lose-, High in Tree, Hits only 2 targets.

Enveloping Shadows: High in Tree, WE's already got a absorb tactic, also relying a successful opener with low absorb value just feels meh.

For the Hag Queen: WE's already got a KD, wasting a tactic slot for a ability not a good idea. Also %10 chance.

SHADOW WARRIOR:

Keen Arrowheads : low utility, speccable

Blood-Soaked War -- only even slightly usable for pve farming mass low lvl mobs with LA+ES, and even then.. pretty meh

Draining Burn: Low Utility

Distracting Fires: Bad Design. Detaunt don't need cd reducer and fire cage cooldown is 30 sec. 7 sec reducer not gonna change anything.

Fan The Flames: Rain of Fire is already a bad ability due to low damage, %50 range increase not effecting anything.

Long Reach: 5 foot range buff for already lackluster skills.

Hack and Slash: High in Tree, Low Utility due to other ap feeders.

All classes: the spirit resistance tactic

Far to sistuational to waste a tactic slot on and is covered by resistance aura and the like

Spirit Resistance Tactic not avaliable for all classses fyi and it stacks with auras and other buffs.

DE : Spirit
CH : Elemental
GS : Spirit

HE : Elemental
EM : Spirit
DW : Corporal

Ironbreaker:

Long Reach: Rune-etched Axe and Shield Sweep have their range increased by 5 feet.
Utterly useless. Those abilities are already questionable, as even at 100 grudge Rune Axe doesnt hit very hard and Shield Sweep, in best case scenario, awards you 5 grudge. Completely dead tactic.

Overprotective: Whenever your Oathfriend is attacked, there is a 25% chance you throw their assailant a glare so fierce they take 150 damage.
RNG fluff damage tactic, pretty sure no one has ever taken it in the history of the game

Furious Reprisal: Shield of Reprisal will now increase the cooldowns on its target by 5 seconds for 5 seconds after they are knocked down.
CD increaser isnt bad, but its single target on an RNG ability that is already shield IB's primary method of CC. Outshone totally by other tactics.

Oath of Vengeance: Vengeful Strike will now affect all allies within 20 feet of Oathfriend.
making one of our ST buffs into AoE is actually decent, but sadly its not one of our good buffs. Gets over written potentially by knight aura or toughness pot anyways. If this applied to Guarded Attack or Inspiring Attack, would be insanely good however. Hesitated to include this one because it could be situationally useful, but I think that situation is too narrow right now to be useful.

Ironbreaker and BG are similar because they dont really have many outright bad tactics: rather, they have too many good tactics and a few outright essential tactics. Almost all IB tactics are situationally useful, like Powered Etchings in warband play (now have 100% uptime aoe snare and aoe kb, which is kinda weird but can be useful), but the above are either so narrowly situational as to be effectively useless, or just actually useless.

Almost included Greataxe Mastery cuz what spec is ever gonna use it, but I suspect it will become more attractive as we get better gear and so can abandon Ancestral Inheritance/Rugged (already possible with full Conq, maybe).

Whenever you critically hit with an ability that builds either Force or Tranquility, you will gain one additional point. Tactic can not trigger more than once every 3 seconds.
Leftover from original class design as a mechanic weaver.

Id say alot of the tactics that are seen as bad are transitional tactics. Devour energy for instance I will always use in the lower tiers before ap management abilities come in.

Sigmar's favor - (empire core tactic, lvl23) - "Any time you are healed by a direct heal there's a 25% chance that you will regain an additional 135 hit points as well."

RNG tactic with low chance and low hp heal as well.

On your feet (runepriest lvl 35 tactic) - Rune of Life, Rune of Sanctuary, and Grimnir's Fury will heal the target for 132 health over 5 seconds and will restore 70 action points when the target is resurrected.

+26 hit points/sec on a high lvl tactic is useless.

Well-trained - Smashing counter, Shield rush, Vicious slash no longer cost action points.
You can not have acces to 2 of these abilities in some builds, and the cost reduction isnt great because this abilities have a long cd(10+ s) and low acton point cost.
Effcient Swings - all path of conquest abilities cost 35% fewer action points.
Requires 12 points spend in coquest tree, low reward do not affect abilities from another trees, outshined by bellow commands tactic, and many else...
Unstoppable juggernaut - juggeranaut cooldown reduced by 20 sec.
Pretty much dead tactic, have no idea who would want to run with it.
P.S. Im not sure about ts istrolling or not in this thread, but i think other people and i myself are dead serious.

Unstoppable Juggernaut is a damn good tactic. Picking other ones that are arguably better does not make UJ a bad tactic.
