Scenario Ques (T1-T4)

Something has to be done about promoting scenarios in all tiers as I find little to no one plays scenarios post T4 and even T4 scenarios don't pop a whole lot.

Nothing you can really do unfortunately. RvR and PvE gear is exponentially faster to get than SC gear and most people enjoy blobbing around in RvR as opposed to fighting 12 vs 12. The majority of the player base isn't gonna bother with SC and the players who enjoy SC eventually stop queing due to long que times.

To get somewhat reasonable queue times, you need to make groups.

Or you know you can NOT punish the people who want scenario gear that is designed for off specs like 2H tanking, dps healers etc with longer que times for gear that’s not even as good as say bloodlord

Make scenario gear just as easy or fast to acquire as rvr gear, garrunteed tier bag rolls goes a lot faster than 1000+ medals

And make secanrio weapons just as desireable as weapons bu giving them procs and stuff as well

2 more dps and some extra crit isn’t worth the insane currency grind to get

This is actually really simple and would go a long way, I completely agree. Double the exp and screw it double the renown as well, we NEED more incentive for scenarios all around.

I also wouldnt be opposed to increasing the number of emblems rewarded as well.

We seriously need to expedite the process of acquiring SC gear, its waaaay too slow currently compared to just blobbing in RvR, especially with the queue times.

We've capitulated to these exact same complaints about the acquisition of gear and emblems and not as a surprise to anyone, the same exact complaint still exists. If you want a suggestion to be taken seriously, do the math. How much is too much? How much should be awarded? What is the "correct" number of games played and games won to be appropriate for the loot?

How long does it take someone to actually acquire a full conq set? Or a full dom set? Or a full Invader set? Are you perhaps misrepresenting the amount of effort it takes to actually win a scen vs semi-afk blobbing in RvR?

Establish a baseline and stop talking out of your ass.

How long does it take to flip a zone on average?
How many medals do you get?
What is your chance to win a bag?
What is the average number of zone flips to win a Gold?
How many pieces can you buy for Medallions before your Gold bags fill in the rest?

That's a lot of zone flips right?

Now how long is the average scenario if you actually try to form groups and win?
How many emblems can you get from winning a scen?
Do you take the quests and turn them in right away?
Do you rotate through scenarios to queue each one and turn them all in at the same time?

So if your several dozen zone flips take on average 30m to 2h, how is this faster than running 5-10m scenarios the equivalent amount of time played?

Rather than just complain that something feels too long, we tend to think about what that means, and where these numbers actually land to try and understand if players concerns are legitimate or not. If it FEELS like a long time, then perhaps you just don't enjoy the core gameplay loop and that could be addressed as well. Something we're FAR more interested in doing than just throwing rewards at people who suffer through it.

Just wanted to reply about those two points

No organized group will ever go back to IC/Altdorf just for those quests. What about adding a scenario quest giver in every Warcamp? Maybe then, people will actually be able to turn in those quests

Scenario gear is indeed harder to get comparing to RVR or PVE sets. BUT, progression is a vital part of any MMO. Without it people will leave really fast.
On this server you can get RVR and PVE gear fast, without much efforts. And what to do next?
Grind for the last piece of PVE sets and farming scenarios provide players with something to do until next content is issued.
The best of the server is that you can make your character competitive really fast, but to "complete" it (get rr80, and bis gear both for main and off-spec) it takes some efforts. And it feels damn right!

PS. Though would not mind if the scenarios equip was a bit better (preferable for me), or took a bit less efforts to get (no more than 10-20% reduction in cost). But even if not, with a group scenarios pop quickly and emblems could be farmed fast.

PPS. Thanks again for removal of the previous domination system!
