Damn I was so hyped to start a character after loving this game to death back then. Now I have to read its wikipages I guess =D

Looks like the database was getting backed up with requests, and each interval it tried to save was getting backed up with more requests. So we're waiting on it to finish updating, and making some changes on the backend. Give us a few minutes to see if we can get it to recover without losing progress for people.

Normally a reboot would be very fast, but this needs to process. We haven't seen it save for about 20 minutes and people would lose their progression unless we wait it out. Sit tight! Will update here when we're back.

We're starting up at 1000 pop cap to make sure the queues are going to behave themselves, will be expanding the pool once we can confirm it's stabilized.

We're back up to full population cap and database queue looks stable. The web API for some things on the website however is down until we can make sure it will behave. So the Armory functions and the population counter will be down for a while longer.

Get back in game and back to WAAAAAGH!
