Return of Reckoning

The above mentioned critical error message I get when I try to log in most of the time.
But sometimes the log in works - I'm able to play, but most of the time there's no chance.
Resetting the internet and shutting down my PC won't do a thing.
Dunno why i can play sometimes and mostly not.
Any ideas?
I'm really frustrated since I got vacation right now and theoretically plenty of time to play...

You should try searching this forum for that message, been answered a few times.
Typically this is due to a problem with the exe not being able to run.
Causes are sometimes
A) no firewall open for game to connect
B) anti virus has false flagged game
C) write protected
D) torrent still running

I went through your advices as well as every single forum entry concerning this problem. I even deleted the game and downloaded everything new. Nothing works Now I really don't have the slightest clue for further steps...

One last simple thing to try, change password account (via forum) and then re enter details on launcher. Saw some mention on discord to try this

Update: 3 days ago I tried logging in like 30 times or so and all of a sudden I was able to log in. So are you really sure that this is a user pending problem and not a server one? Cause on that day I didn't touch this computer except for trying to log in, I used my laptop for all the other stuff instead. I didn't change anything on the PC the whole day and out of nothing the login worked after endless tries. So I really doubt that the critical error is a problem on my side.
What do you think?

No idea, which doctor fixed it , or maybe it was a password synchronization time lag

a friend of mine had this issue. it was malware on his computer that caused it called YAC. just a guess, but maybe you want to check if you installed the same porgramm on your pc

Edit: if nothing works, you can try using a vpn to connect to the game. your error usually means that a connection couldnt be created between you and the server. Its likely something on your end is blocking access.

I had the same problem but ı dont know how to fix. Anyone found any solutions?
