Yes, but as I remember it (and I feel pretty certain) I had both the rvr and crafted pot in the same slot on live. When I used one by hitting a button the icon just switch to the rvr one which was my secondary. So two taps on the hotkey meant double pots. Edit: And checking my old screenshots prove...

sounds like you weren't even successfully putting guard on them if you took no damage. did you see the guard buff icon on them? I am thinking he's trying to guard non group members tbh. Would be a reasonable mistake if you're new to the game. If not, well then just need to read the battle better. T...
