Can someone write up a brief explanation of what to do in Twisting Towers please?

Hi! I'm a returning player, haven't played since before the unification of currencies, which i think is a great change. My problem is my lvl 40 characters can't equip the gear they used before the change since they don't have the wards needed. IT seems to unlock the wards for the items i was wearing...

I'm in the process of gearing my Chosen. Was hoping to get some advice on a good mix of armor/jewellery and weapon to get to the desired stats of about 800/800/800.

My goal is to rvr mostly in small scale with a 2-hander. Some solo as well if i know myself.

It's not tied to the viper pit in any way though, it's on all ports of all kinds. to/from scenarios, flight master, everything.
