Re: New/returning players looking for advice
Warrior priest in grace spec (1h+shield) would also work. It brings an aura for healing/damage proc. It also has the group wounds buff. Aside from that it heals while doing damage. It really depends on how the player wants to play his/her healer. Ranged damage and healing? AM. Traditional healer wit...

Re: Returning player, used to tanks trying magus
7 primary sov and 2 triumphant is really nice. It's perfect for ST havoc spec. I'm sitting at 30% crit before any buffs, liniments, or soulstone talismans, 45% on havoc spells (which are most of your damage anyway), and a 10% chance to boost my crit rate by a further 9% and crit damage by 15%. With ...

Re: Magus Pets
Chaotic attunement is mandatory. Without it you're sitting still for 3 seconds every fight. The only time you can get away with replacing it with some other tactic is when you're defending a keep or fort. Ideally the pet summons, for both engineer and magus, would be instant by default. Then the cha...

Re: How to know ppl arn´t enjoying endgame
Whatever happened to the really old setup for city when it was a massive battle with hundreds of players on each side? Why is that not a thing anymore? Why do fortress battles feel more large-scale than city battles? Cities have never had hundreds of players on either side, neither on live or ROR. ...

Re: How to know ppl arn´t enjoying endgame
It's boring. That is the most unforgivable aspect of any game. Win or lose, it has rarely been fun. Whenever I see an ongoing or upcoming city siege I grumble about the lack of scenario pops. Whatever happened to the really old setup for city when it was a massive battle with hundreds of players on ...

Re: Patch Notes 30/03/2023
Who thought that reducing the warcrests received by the surrendering team was a good thing? What is it supposed to accomplish? 80% of the time the team that surrenders does so because they not only can't win, but because they're getting stomped. All this will do is make losing even more painful. It ...

Re: Sc Weekend
I was in the premade in that scen. We went 10-0 to complete the event. Just so you know it wasn't a lot of fun either as we kept getting pugs and no actual fights. Earlier in the day I lost 7 in a row as a solo choppa to either 1 or 2 order premades per scen. Some of its down to who is in the queue...

Re: Sc Weekend
It's fine. But duo-queueing discordant? That was a real problem. They moved guards away too, so you can get more fights.

Re: Patch Notes 24/02/2023
I cant honestly believe some people complaining saying "but now I cant go against pugs with a dedicated healer/tank, how is this fair?" For those who claim the disc SC duo system was not abused, I am happy to drop a few names in private (I dont want to name and shame on public forums). Th...
