Since the unified currency was introduced the game has turned into a mind-numbing grindfest. Fortress is pointless since it has no unique rewards so rarely any coordination, same for city. Of course the price should be reduced to a sane level. Triumphant/Victorious is no longer Ranked-exclusive so absolutely no point leaving it as it is. Grinding for that ring is nothing but boredom, time that could be spent gearing another toon. I understand that ppl who already spent 10k don't want ...

Interesting idea but it would create chaos with balance. Guard is already the most overpowered ability in the game. Imo guard should have been implemented like in DAoC so when guarding another player you have a chance to block attacks on them rather than just splitting dmg.

The pacing on crest gains seems to coincide pretty well with hitting RR80 atm. My latest character to get to full Sov (my WH) was able to get there at RR79 and I purchased every RvR set along the way i.e. no PVE at all. I have the complete opposite experience but I suppose if you solo a lot and man...

I guess nearly everything was made people asked for... and there are still not more players. Easier to get renown, crests and gear as ever before and people are still complaining. Pitty. Except it it isn't easier, it is much slower in my experience (with 7 rr80+ mostly from before currency changes)...

As a casual PUG player the biggest grind now are crests rather than renow. With a win ratio far below 50% in scenarios, gearing up a character takes ages compared to before when you could get a lucky gold bag in rvr. On the character selection screen the lockout timer is retrieved by this line of code:
