Hello. I have just installed this game and have tried to play it, however when I load it and connect to the server and try to make a character, its just brings up the race selector, but I cannot do anything else..what I'm presuming are the character models for the races aren't loading, and its just...

DC to character select or Crash to desktop?
If your game files are all correct, network connection good, then maybe try with clean addon profile for your character(s).

I have one more idea actually.
Lutris on Steam Deck is flatpak iirc? So maybe it has some strange permission issues like flatpaks sadly sometimes have.

What if you add RoRInstaller.exe as a non-steam game and install through steam, then change the shortcut to point to the installed RoRLauncher.exe

Hah so that full line did actually work and bypass the agreement. Now the problem is I'm on what should be the main menu and the cinematic, credits, settings, and quit buttons are all at the bottom but the screen is black otherwise, and I still can't click anything. I guess there's deeper problems ...

It was installed with the Linux guide step by step, then added as a non steam game. It won't launch directly through lutris, also it has to be in compatibility mode Hmm. Have you tried different Compatibility tools. Like Proton-GE versions?..i think you can install them with protonup-qt thats found...

hmm.. Im running out of ideas then... super strange issue. In that same file i have not sure what those numbers exactly are.

Are your launching through Lutris or from Steam directly added as non-steam game?

Something odd must be going on with the input grabbing i guess.

How do you get past the user agreement on the steam deck? The game will run and i can login but I can't get any inputs to respond on the agreement whether I use touch screen, bluetooth mouse, or dock it to a mouse and keyboard setup. Maybe you need to minimize and maximize the game? I don't have a ...
