For WB play magus needs dmg on warpfire to go up and engi need more dmg on static discharge and slightly more on lighting rod. Compared to other titles, the amount of CC and immunities in this game feels totally fine. Compare it with WoW TBC for example where you would find yourself stunned, feared, disabled, sheeped, etc. and nuked into oblivion while being so in like 50% of the PVP playtime...

Pets/turrets are literally melting away instantly. It makes no sense to postpone this by .5 seconds by wasting to CD or GCD.
