Just because an npc has them doesn't mean it's available to players... there are HE npcs who have spears, an awesome look but sadly not open to players.

I'd settle to rotate ones that are more strategic and give underdogs a chance to score and compete, not 500-0 melee ball king of the hill stuff. Also, functioning achievable event objectives as well.
