A quick question regarding this: What process is used to pick the champs now? e.g. completely random, random between anyone over a certain RR, random but weighted towards those with a higher RR, etc. It will be a random one of the top 3 renown players from each category. @Dal...

re purposing the surrender addon might be possible but tricky. This is something I wanted for a long time but its very low in any prio list of ours. Though I have an idea on how to make it work without any additional addons

the mechanics was chosen to at least somewhat fit with the races. Adding them into a pool and then randomize it would not allow for this and as such wont be added. Not to mention the headache of implementing this.

the difference in pull on magus vs engineer is yes very much intended to match the animation. Cast time is the same on both but magus cast the pull themselves and engineers make a contraption that 1 second later do the pull. Also note that there is other differences in their kits and the spells them...

Its not the barriers in forts that does that, Its the code about being jailed. It blocks you from getting pulled amongst other things.
