I do really like the shared royals idea. Its the easiest solution to this "problem". Though of course people would still cry they have to play something other than their shitty engineer

its not a new meta and its not exactly a secret people will do this. it also makes sense. ez win= more royals and who wouldnt want that? tbh id rather have the 20 minute pug stomp then some trash warband on the other side wasting my time, drawing it out even though they have 10 kills to my 300.

you may have been on to something a year ago when people were getting burned out and quitting en masse from how shitty gearing was

kotbs and wp were some of the most popular classes on order iirc

good luck arguing to the people that matter that kotbs should get a buff to dmg output. they have hated 2h tanks forever

Its a problem with end game sets in general. Look at dps DoK bis which is 5 warlord 3 off sov. All of the pieces have crit or parry and only the cloak has shitty toughness. Its completely unfair. Every set should be as good as this one.
