I think magus is a great class. And I know players who can really be scary on them. Plus, they are sneaky bastards with those discs, opposed to the thundering gyro who makes us scream "get the dwarf!"

If scenarios are your type of game, don't pug. Pugging and complaining is like asking a girl out and don't shower. Pure gamble.
If it is, find a group and queue together.

When equipped with BiS, and know how to play, Witch Elf and Witch Hunter can drop almost every target in seconds. Witch Elf is in my opinion even better, damagewise. In group, try to cc tanks to leave mdps and heals without guard. You can be a valuable asset in rvr if you focus properly and assist on time. Include armor debuff in your rotation. And VON before you decide to burst your target.

Never had problems with Shammies. Charging them is just foolish. And like all the kiting classes, if they catch you off guard and they are not completely idiot, they will kill you in one on one. But there are many ways to kill them for all classes.

Whenever I try to queue with queuequeuer, a message says it failed to join all the maps. And if I use the traditional method, nothing happens and the emblem on the minimap stays off. Any suggestions?

Ok, but don't forget that killing is fun. I basically the main reason why we do this. If you can lure a band on a spot with few men and ambush them in the middle is actually a way more dynamic way to rvr. Of course is just my opinion
