Currently there is no mechanism to take a zone once lord dies My suggestion builds upon the war hammer PQ system where each stage has a set time and if not completed the pq resets. Passive inaction should not be rewarded.
In my mind keep attack/defense should not be rewarded , only the zone and only if there was enough fighting not pvdoor
