you do have a shield and based on the link you're specced for it. I'm not sure what level you are but your group heals will have a much better output in general than you hots. are you trying to heal out of party? Dok isn't well suited for that other than to help out the other party's healer a little.

There's an active proposal in the balance forums regarding returning aoe detaunt to chalice-holding doks so standby on that, we may get it back eventually.
