City Siege Test 15/12/2019

Hello,

Please post here regarding the City Siege test.

We will be testing both Altdorf and The Inevitable City. We will also be testing the integration into the campaign.

Once 2 forts have been taken the enemy city siege will begin. All players in that city will be removed.

Form warbands and queue up by entering the portal at your enemy capital city. The queues will be open for 30 mins.

After 30 mins the queues will be disabled however the city scenarios Altdorf War Quarter or The Undercroft will be avaliable.

When all open City Sieges have concluded the winner of the campaign will be announced.

After this the campaign will reset.

Objectives of the Sieges

Stage 1 (Invaders):
- Pillage the City (Kill all NPCs)
- Burn the City (Burn bodies, canopys, boxes, books, etc)
- Capture objectives
- Capturing the North Dock or The Outcrop will spawn Cannoneers or Lobba Gits to attack the city gate, escort these to the gates.
- Capturinf The Library or The Lyceum will allow you to summon theLord of Change or the Sun Dragon to attack the city gate. You will need 6 players to say need the summoning area and have the buff.

Stage 2:
- Escort the Warlords to the other side of the map.
- The defenders warlord can recapture objectives.

Stage 3:
- This will either occur at the palace of the city or near the front gates depending on who won round 2.
- A damage buff will be granted depending on how many objectives they held at the end of stage 2.
- You can kill the enemy king once killing all of their heros.

just info: I was in full WB and missed queue call (was 1 min afk). Yes, my bad, but i got quitter 10 min debuff and even after that, was unable to go inside to defend Altdorf and support our WB.

Cant remember how it was in Live but quing premade WB to a 36man instance for each side is a big problem - many ppl still dont know/want to sort out groups. Is it possible to assign groups inside instance as they were in warband ?

Was good but:

The quiter debuff plus crashing made it hard for wb, we lost 3 or so healers as they crashed and did not manage to get into the instance due to quitter debuf
the use of the scenario interface means wb leader will have problems fixing / organizing goup
our instance would not progress to stage 3 stayed on prepare to fight with 0 seconds and would not proceed.

but fun and thanks for doing this and looking like good porgress
