LF Good Salvaging guide

Most searches about salvaging don’t really provide a good guide as to how to level up the skill. What I’m looking for is where to farm green or higher gear that I can salvage and quickly lvl up my toon’s skill. What’s the progression as you level up, which zones are best to farm in, etc. Any specific help will be greatly appreciated.
