The Golden Company History
The Golden Company is a former Mercenary group, elevated for its service to the Empire into a fighting force to combat Invaders of the Empire and its allies. Known for their white and gold or black and gold armor they are always at the forefront of a fight. Yet, their beginnings begin in Nordland, where it was formed by stragglers from the Militia and regular army decimated by the forces of Chaos, they first came together at one of the many battles for Festenplatz, acquitting themselves so well, they turned the tide of battle. Soon after, Ser Richaert Hawthorne a landed knight made it a mercenary company to hit hot spots across the empire. Through their campaigns, they met many other excellent fighters of other races and their ranks swelled. Soon they were at the forefront of many battles and were made a regiment of the empire. With their expansion came the creation of sister regiments from which they would recruit those of the empire with the fury to fight. Now the Golden Company oversees a brigade with 3 regiments under its aegis. The Blades of Ulric, The Stout and Steel, and The Seaguard Phoenixes now operate as junior regiments, though are growing in their own right.

Role play aside, the Golden company is comprised of active players with goals to improve the status of individual members but also the tactics by which Order Warbands fight, priding to be relaxed by use discipline in battle so they can use formations that optimize their effectiveness in battle. we have a discord channel at https//discord.gg/afWd89S and use it for RVR. The other tenet of our Guild is to support our members to help them be the best they can be, and not to flee at the first sign of difficulty in battle. We are growing and hope to turn the tide of battle against destruction as much as we can. Interested Parties can contact : SerHawthtorne, Xyrie, Synholi, or Curtimous Maximus and ask about us in game or start up a chat. We will also post recruitment notices for our Empire only guild, The Blades of Ulric. The Dwarf only, Stout and Steel, and Elf Only Seaguard Phoenixes. We have alliances with TERCIOS, and are negotiating at present an Alliance with Break-A-Wish. We hope to be here to stay for a while.
