If the tax is 50% then any gold you loot off of dead bodies will be cut in half. Half to you, half to guild vault. Yes it does work.

Renown contributed just means how much renown you’ve earned since joining that ALSO levels up your guild level. It is not a tax or taking anything from you.

As I remember it from live, tax was based only on actual coin drops and not gold received from selling trash to vendors or getting in mail from friends/ah. In other words, fairly limited.

so this 2 tax is about the money drop from mobs? not related to xp or rr xp?
