Although I disagree, simply because it's tied to PvP progression. If PvE items were good for PvE, and vice versa I'd have exactly zero issues with having dungeons require synchronized swimming whilst reciting The Republic from memory or whatever, but as is, from my experience at least, most people don't do dungeons for the challenging experience (as stated, I think the game in general just isn't suited to it, and mobs <<<<<<<<<(...)<<<<<<<<< players no matter how many triggers you put on them imo, also bugs), but simply because wards and the crest system makes PvE the quickest way to get your toons in decent shape for PvP (and once again I'll whine at PvE BiS).

Unless the systems around changes, I don't see why the dungeon experience shouldn't reflect that reality. Otherwise not many people will run the content, esp not pug. One might call it a player issue, but I don't see anything wrong with people wanting to PvP in what at least I consider a PvP game, and I for one want to see more geared toons in the lakes and SC's.
