The keeps in the game which have doors that are sloped downwards away from the oil, namely order keep in praag, TM, could simply have a single piece of solid terrain added (a rock?) In order to allow RDPS to walk atop it and be able to attack and destroy the oil. I don't think thugs would take very much time or effort to fix nor would it inhibit any gameplay.
