In a previous thread I mentioned that I was looking into playing a knight after reading that Order needed tanks, and in my opinion, their aesthetic is one of the better ones in the game. While reading their skills and tactics I noticed that they seemed a little...boring maybe, I'm not quite sure if that is the right way to describe it. It is not necessarily how they play but rather the flavour of their skills. I do not know much about the actual balancing of classes and the numbers game that goes with it, but I thought that these changes would at least be a bit more interesting. If I am repeating things that others have said then my apologies for that.
- Blazing Blade - Initial direct damage remains as physical damage, the damage over time component changed to elemental damage.
- Vicious slash - Initial damage remains as physical damage, the damage over time component changed to elemental damage.
- All out Assault – Rename to Suns Blessing, change damage type to elemental.
- Efficient Swings, 11 point tactic in conquest – currently 35% reduction to the cost of path of conquest abilities. This just doesn’t seem that appealing at all, obviously I could be wrong. However, if this was
something like reduced cost of conquest skills by 25% +10% parry and Myrmidias Fury now does elemental damage while wielding a great weapon, I think that would fit with the theme that Knights are supposed to
be masters of combat. However, like I previously said, I don’t know much about the actual numbers game of balancing, so I don’t know if something like that would be too strong. 35% reduction just seems so dull
for an 11 point tactic.
I guess I should also say that I have been playing mostly on destruction as a blackguard. I was playing on destruction before the population increase, took a break, and have been back playing for about 2-3 weeks.
