Yes, they can counter sneaky sieges, but to do that, they have to split. If you siege 3 zones at same time, zerg has to split between them constantly and blobing gets reduced.

200 man zerg smashes 80 man zone A, breaks the siege, teleports to zone B, smashes that siege (which is usually on lord by this point) instantly. "Oh no we lost zone C" teleport to that siege it back because everyone opposite logged off after 200 vs 100 fights became boring.

People need patience, if you continue to smash 3 zones at same time and prevent enemies from repairing doors by controlling BOs (as zerg can be only in one of three zones), you will slowly take those zones, but rams have to be spawned at same time, so they are always rams hiting doors when blob is busy in other zone.

I think a 2wb cap is sufficient when all 3 zones there is plenty rvr to go around. EU Primetime wouldnt such a zergfest like it is at the moment and two forts opening at the same would become more common. Yes overall number but even with number of 1000+ zone get overwhelmed especially endzones like CW KV etc .. To combat this having them split or a mechanic that once you committed to a zone moving loses you the contribution for the zone you just similar to xrealming so you think twice about switching because a ram is up in another pairing.

This is a Realm vs. Realm game. Get over it.

Your so called blob is far from mindless if the warbands in it move according to a called out strategy. It does not matter how simple the strategy might be, it's a coordination efford and if it works, then it was good enough to win over the opposing realm.

Warband leaders must cooperate or get stomped, simple as that.

You want competitive? Go and do your ranked scenarios.
Nobody does ranked scenarios? Mhh.. why might that be. Toxic tells because of ruined MMR in an alpha state game might be the reason.. who knows.
There is also this new amazing arena, anyone even using it? Let me stand there for a day and look how dedicated people are..

You want to fight the "zerg" with your guild warbands, find a good spot on a map with good funnel or where you can split the zerg, like in Praag at the river North and South of the Destro warcamp as example. Easy. You can even plant a banner there and call it the tryhard corner on the block.


Don't show up here on the forums and come up with a questionable idea of splitting the comunity on two servers.

Recent changes to keep mechanics are not Zerg friendly, the defender must coordinate or loose the keep.
Also there is alot of keep / siege mechanics that are not unlocked in this Alpha yet.

And since "locking" zone yourself would be requirement for crest, they will want to lock [read: win] as many zones themselves rather than just blob somewhere.
I see you don't understand even after reading that post and continue your theorycrafting nonsense.
240 destro blob-zerg sieging castle in T4 center zone A against 120-96 , order splitting(not all of the players are organized) and part goes to siege Castle in zone B and it takes time. Destro see population flow easily with SoR. Sends 2-3wbs(48-72 players) in zone B or even in zone C, because there is only about half players left in zone A. 2-3wbs breaking the siege. Losing opportunity to capture keep and zone. Order now 96(-1 wb) because people are logging off on losing side all the time. All they can do now is use defence tactics in zone B-C, since they lost advantage of numbers and maneuvers.

This is how it works online. Making up more details doesn't change main directions. You can't win when double numbers are against you. How do you even plan to take BOs when they have x2 more warbands ? Do you want to entertain blobs-zergs with taking BOs right ? Good luck with that.

yea muh hurt feelingz is definitely the reason ranked doesn't pop, not the other 5 or 6 reasons.

splitting server is never the answer. maybe tie AoE effectiveness to AAO. the more AAO the more people it hits. Don't have AAO = 9 people and go up from there.

About this time last year there was a understanding between organised guilds not to blob .
That worked relatively well but got dropped , so it’s clearly doable but just some seem to find comfort in a blob

idk just started playing this game and found out a GM leads destro groups. Went against them last night 40-50 of em wiped us while they had lord at 50%... we respawn and get back lord 1%???? Felt really fast for so few #s.
