Why does the zealot have a m3 7sec aoe silence and a m4 aoe 50% less healing taken for 10 sec compared to Runepriest m3 selfheal for 1200 lol? and m4 group healing dot and ap dot?
Like how is this balanced?

Sadly mountain spirit was nerfed in the way that became obsolete. Not that pre nerf was something spectacular and still fm was the king. So gutting that moral was strange thing to do but meh

Destro originally had solid morales and sundry morale pumps to counter the front loaded crit meta that order enjoyed on live. Leading shots and dirty tricks, along with focused mending, gave order an advantage in the first moments of the encounter. If destro was able to survive they could turn the fight around with their CC heavy morale 3 abilities.

Crit meta, along with proc meta have been solidly nerfed. That is why the devs had to also nerf morales because that meta was over performing. So much so that even a sad clown meme morale like Raze had to be nerfed.

Morales like Mountain Spirit are just useless clutter now as no sane person wouldn't take Focused Mind. M4 discussions are just like, why bother even talking about it?

RP m4 is 2400 damage morale, if you compare good m4s. Its a huge cone

It is pretty stupid in some fights how you aren't even at M2 yet but Zealot it hitting M4. I don't mind them having good morale but how easy it is to get to them is the issue, which is caused by their ritual procing morale tactic combined with other class morale pump. So the most powerful ability on a class being available that fast is the broken mechanic, especially as that ability is an aoe heal debuff which syncs perfectly with a morale bomb. Even if you mirrored to to RP it wouldn't make a difference as a RP you don't have the morale boost tactic.

There are 8 classes that can morale pump and every single one of those classes have better morales than a zealot to choose from

Some of these classes can not only pump faster than a zealot, they can redirect these pumps to other classes with wildly better morales which is something a zealot cant even do. A zealot's M4 is also short range and places them in close combat with other players trying to kill them. Yes, morale pump and morale drain are powerful, but both sides have it in spades and while the parity isnt perfect, its moving towards a better place especially after the recent destro morale drain nerfs.

What I dont want to see is ANOTHER healer getting ANOTHER morale nerf just because of a few people who dont even play healers (or zealots) think its powerful. I was there when Torq took a gigantic and unnecessary nerf sledgehammer to Dok's morale pump and Im still pissed off about this 4 years later. Hint: Torq didnt just nerf it, he removed it from the game.

The devs have already stated multiple times morales amongst most of the classes are broke and will eventually be reevaluated later. Right now the devs are working on other parts of the game and they just arent there yet.

I’ll trade my morale pump tactic for the RP armor tactic.
