Warlord stats for Chosen/SM

The 3 and 4 pc bonus are garbage for sm/Chosen and something should replace them. toughness/wounds/%dmg/crit idk literally anything would be a less deadweight stat. hell id even take some rctbc. Also the change to deamonclaw was buff really tells me u guys really do know just how useless weaponskill is for the class, it shouldn't be in our build or gear. Also the weapon Harrower for chosen, the weaponskill should be changed to str.

Parry or disrupt would be cool too since yall nerfed guard for 2h.

Its a problem with end game sets in general. Look at dps DoK bis which is 5 warlord 3 off sov. All of the pieces have crit or parry and only the cloak has shitty toughness. Its completely unfair. Every set should be as good as this one.

I agree. These sets need to be more specific to class instead of just copy pasting the **** stats across all the same archetypes.

Actually, Weaponskill is good...ish on Chosen. Well, it is a bandaid after they took away the 100% Spirit DMG-tactic. You need Armor Penetration unless you wanna hit like a wet noodle since a lot of utility skills (snare, Suppression etc) all deal Physical dmg and Chosen doesn't have an Armor Debuff.

Either that or actually give us an Armor Debuff. Or the Spirit DMG-tactic back.

Honestly, both 2H/DPS KoTBS and Chosen need a rework. The devs removed the ability to fully convert to Spirit DMG, yet didn't give them a way (i.e Armor Debuff) to up their Physical DMG they were now left with.

Weapon skill and armor pen do a lot for a BG/Bo/IB/KOBS, but for chosen or sm, the damage comes from mostly spirit attacks which gains nothing except for fluffing our auto attacks. the 99 melee power on the other hand....

That's true for SM (which has way more default non-physical attacks than other tanks) but not so much from KoTBS/Chosen who relied on a tactic to convert their damage to Spirit aside from a couple abilities like Ravage.

That tactic was removed, and the classes weren't really compensated for it. Chosen is far behind both BG, and especially BO, in terms of DPS as a result.

Chosen still doesn't gain as much from armor pen. your main source of damage is spirit still. I never cared for the tactic as it was just a niche way to play chosen solo. I'm simply talking about the set bonus for the gear. They changed daemonclaw because chosen gains minimum from ws. well the same applies to end game gear sets that take weeks/months to farm.

The point is that BG/BO doesn't lose damage when stacking up utility skills (like snare, various debuffs/buffs) but every time a Chosen does he loses a lot of damage because he doesn't spam Ravage. Meanwhile a BG/BO has an Armor Debuff that increases the damage of all their skills because they are physical.

Not saying that WS is good, its bad. But it is a bandaid the DPS Chosen can use rather than an Armor Debuff. Not that they should have to, but they kinda do. If you remove WS from various Chosen armor/weapons without changing Chosen as well, you're directly nerfing the overall DPS of the class.

EDIT: Not to mentioning missing out on the phat 2H auto-attack bursts which are also physical damage.

Of course chosen gains from it. it just doesnt gain what a bg/bo does. the % of damage for those classes with armor pen is much higher than that of chosen. chosen would gain more from a 4% dmg bonus or maybe 5% crit chance even. The armor pen isnt specefic to chosen. but im speaking for SM all the same here. Magic dmg classes do not need armor pen.
