I still dont see why the matchmaking could not work like this (I remember it worked like this before) :
-Solo - Duos > match against solos and duos only (restrict by guild if you fear gaming the system to make premades facing pugs)
- 3-6 premades > match against 3-6 premades only (no restriction).
Why do you want to "separate" scs with a hard restriction, when you can just make the same matchmaking for every scenario ?
Let people enjoy the SCs the way they want/can, and try to ensure "fair" balance everytime, no ?

it would be great if weekend-event will be pug only because all this game is 75% of the time is pug
