If thats the case then SoloRanked should maybe take a more casual approach. Save "hard competitive gameplay" for GroupRanked.
There are options. Question is in what direction to go and how often there will be adjustments.
I can understand that devs are reserved about making changes midseason.
But tbh under this circumstances u either try to do something or season is over already.

Negative MMR was a bad idea to start with : anybody could legitimately believe the bottom limit was zero, but in fact it just discouraged people when they got one loss, then one win, and their mmr was still zero.

If you want people to get a sense of progress, you have to ensure they feel that way, or pretty much everybody will give up after seeing no progress over multiple matches.

I got the courage to continue after my initial 13 loss/draw in a row before my first win, and only because people repeated me "eventually your mmr wil rise over zero".
Now after 56 matches I got to less than 200 mmr, and the perspective to reach 1k is too far away, even for me (and I'm somehow a hard-tryer).
So imagine how bad most other felt after just a few matches with zero mmr progression, and you got the picture.

Like casino, if you want to involve enough people to start with enough wealth to not stop playing after their first loss, you have to give them a bit more for a start or they will broke too early, and nobody participating is what is killing the thing, it's a lose-lose for everyone.

In ranked you want to get the more people you can in the bandwagon, since top players need to hit someone to win, and bad players can alos play against each other and get a fair chance to win. You need at least 20-30 people queuing at all time (at least on primetime hours) to make it work, and while it was almost the case on the first week, the punishing mmr system made short work of almost everyone.

I know there is also the "summer vacations" effect and such, but overall I think we have to restart the interest to ranked, one way or another.

And you will also have the "full geared" effect, when the most hardcore players will be full ranked-stuffed, and will quit mostly ranked (maybe playing some matches a week for event item or vanity items) ; that will thin the ranked playerbase even further, and you absolutely want to get enough participation to keep this mode going on with fresh people.

What is fun on taking empty zones/forts/keeps? what is succefull defense on destro side fort in last 6month? 5%-10%?

Never liked large scale, and ranked SC is most fun thing in game for me, alteast there is some challange.

Yesterday primetime waiting 40min with 23ppl in que: destro 3 4 4 order: 4 5 4, no pop.
Remove mmr system pop and 1k mmr isignia drop=ranked alive again.

Some classes need 6k+ triumpahnt marks, this is almost 500 game with 50% win ratio. You can get full sovereign faster.

They change anything after season 2 release? we just have now extra bug on ranked, that not reque ppl if someone decline, so mostly its just waste time.
We have already many good idea how fix ranked but noone from devs listen us.

Don't think ranked drain so many ressources. Devs prefer to repair PQ instead of skills that are on bugtracker for 6-12month.

rvr hsa become "amazon delivery simulator" basically xD
apart that i agree with the sentence. IF you say (as dev) that game is RVR based as main focus, then empower it and leave ranked sc a "time killer". on the other flips side, if you want to make 6v6 end content then balance classes on THAT situation and rvr will remain on it's own. you cannot have 2 foots in 1 shoe. "hybrid" approach destroy the game in both rvr (desert sieges and keeps) and the other (no one joinin ranked or very little numbers on them)

I liked how it worked on the live server. BiS weapon from sc+LOTD, BiS set from rvr, pocket items from pve. Cloak from LOTD etc. This is not only RvR game.

It is pretty much the same for this server if NOT better. You have wayyyyy more options here than live. They just need to let the new ranked gear give tokens in normal SC's. They should make all SC's if you are in a group more than 4 be force into a 6v6 group and give ranked tokens that way.

Unfortunately not. Here we have wards only from PVE. On live you have wards from pve and pvp sets.
If you want 5% bs weapon you need to do 3gunbad, 4 be/bb/c/t, 2bs (less if you're lucky).
We don't have a good reward from normal sc.

Additionally, many weapons have been changed.

For me, the devs made the wrong decision. After the last patch, the rankings were only on Saturday, I played 1 game, then I waited 40 minutes to get 2 pops which somebody decline.
Currently, it doesn't automatically queue the rest of the players.

Last patch no fix, and extra bug.

How long we wait for season 2? 6month+? Personally, I will not wait for season 3 since I can not see any conclusions.
lol , ok , in lower bracket mb not half match vs double , but in my mmr im see next cituation(Tupak/CluCLu/DwarfofEkrund/Zunig/Narcotix/Ramrog,Doeselhurt/Beutybeast/Jezzacryst/Kodiak/Bodevildje/Blin/Isio/Khazzak/Tengry - its slayers, and 50-60% matches i play vs one of these guys combined) perfect
And? you already win many games vs double slayer when you have 2xWE or 1WE/SH.
Ohh no i play order, why i meet Krima/Advarka/Lucy/Aterdeheal/Jurki/Teefz etc on higher bracker in 70-90% my fight?
This is problem, ranked is dead so you don't have any new ppl on upper bracket.

Things that killed the ranked:
-discord
-1k mmr isnignia drop(I would like to know who from players suggested this)
-devs
