Is it worth getting back in to?

Hey guys, I recently saw a couple of updates and had a urge to get back into RoR again but basically not sure if it's worth my time as my computer is dissembled and stored away currently. I'm **** lazy. Basically I'd like to hear some feedback on: Is balancing going well (in terms of class strength, roles filled and population), is average population decent, are there plans for game changing new updates/content, is matchmaking smooth and when and how often are cities?

I originally stopped playing RoR a year ago because I was maxed on almost all classes on Order and Destruction with a fully maxed BIS Slayer so I lost motivation in regards to progression, balancing was very bewildering and there was h 192.168.0.1 router login 192.168.1.1
ardly any active fixing, there was rarely any interesting content updates (cities eventually became the only thing I enjoyed). The biggest issue was population was awful during my times (EST), most times I was just afk.

I love this game and miss it but not totally sure if it's worth getting into. Thoughts? 192.168.0.1 router login 192.168.1.1

Not terribly convinced this is not trying to draw people into the woes of balance discution from each individuals perspective to generate a toxi thread. Anyway I give a spin at answering.

There are balance issues and always will be when looking at any game from individual player point of view. Won’t help if it was “balanced” or not.

Currently this year there has been a continued and relentless nerf Destro theme in the patches which is very visible in the population .

There is also a very “healthy” log to the winning side going on which does distort and amplify the population differences.

However in my opinion the game should be about the fight and these are available. There is some good large blob fights , WB-WB fights etc. so although there are some time zone differences over population it still is fun and not doom and gloom.

Introduction of the new cities is cool and a showcase for what the devs can do, so there is a route forward even if “2 weeks” needs to be spread heavily for how things go.

In general still a good game, some very dubious choices in game direction and balance choices is present but smacking a dwarf or two to work out the frustration helps

EU pop is very healthy and realm balance has improved a lot lately with several destro guilds returning, it feels very close to being just right. order possibly has a tiny numbers advantage and definitely has the edge in cooperation and organization but then destro still comes out on top in small scale and instances. so if you wanna fight slightly harder orvr roll destro if you wanna fight slightly harder cities roll order. if ur a weeny do the opposite

NA pop is still unreliable and massively favors order for reasons i cant understand, who are these hordes of engineers ramming down empty keeps for hours every night. again if you wanna help roll des, it is improving and those of us on at that time have sort of got to know each other and are learning how to fight it. its a big celebration when we do actually manage to take a keep

To be honest, if you really miss the game, you don't care if it's balanced or playable. You reinstall this one and test it yourself.

Visible in the population how? The population continues to swing back and forth as it always has, and the "nerfs" addressed some major imbalance. Good players were not effected as every class is still viable in the hands of a good player.

"xrealming to the winning side" is something I see used a crutch by both sides when they start losing - I personally haven't seen it happen. If anything, warbands will swap to the side that has AAO, and I have seen 3-4 different guilds/warbands do this on a regular basis.

Ignoring the naysayers, yes the game is very much worth playing. EU Primetime is the best time to be online, find some friends to play with and you'll have a blast no matter class or side you play.

i try to don't be emotional involved and just breakdown stuff , i think the guy have right to have is opinion( like it or not) , i also think saying is toxic and saying is a bait , obviously show you are not agree and are in deny with is point or opinion , but i have to be agree with some point , i think is got nothing wrong to be agree or disagree , i don't understand the mentality to be disagree on something this become automatically a toxic topic ? sure some topic are more sensitive and bring a lot of debates , but i think is worst to avoid them and shut them down and be in deny , this is the only warhammer server right ? and in my opinion this server suppose to be always full , sadly this break my heart to see the population look to always dropping , because i love war so much , i also think this is a part of the issue that cause population drop slowly , already on this topic user say they xrealming , just look the last big event the day of the new city open and how the faction population are so unbalance in the battlefield in tm, this is because player reroll on the other faction because 1 faction get nerf to the ground and the other one get buff, look the history patch note from life and is very obvious , anyway this is only 1 guy opinion have a nice day peace
