Character customization

I have a friend I'm trying to get to play RoR, the main issue is he will not play a game that doesn't have a 'black' skintone option in character creation. How difficult would it be to change one of the shaders to a dark skintone on Dark elves or Chaos?

I can understand why an option like that could be important for somebody's perception of the game. I'm honestly a little surprised myself that none of the available races offer such an option.

At the same time this is a fantasy world, and roleplaying/immersion can only go as far as you're willing to let yourself take it. I think maybe your friend should open their mind to this fantasy world instead of trying to focus on something that may not be anything more than an oversight during the original development cycle.

What if your friend would play Chosen or Magus and... equip helmet?

Make a Chaos Dark.

I feel ya though. I petitioned for change about the black guard and black orcs. Should be a white guard and white orcs.

Don't even get me started on the greenskins...
