20 year MMO anniversary for many.

Back in 2001 Anarchy Online was my very first MMO. I have been playing the MMO ever since. Immediately fell in love with pvp. Before WoW each MMO was unique and a brand of their own. Oh those were the days when one couldn't decide what to play. AO, Daoc and SWG were my favs. The MMO golden age.

I am sure many in this community have the same anniversary.

PS. Yes WoW was the first MMO...that ruined the genre.

Yeah those where the days, signed up to all new mmorpgs alpha and beta. Don't know how many different games I played "tested" in the early 2000. But games I played at 2001 was AC, lineage and abit of daoc if memory serves me right. As you said all mmo was unique at the time super fun.

I played a game back in 2001-2003 don't know if it was in alpha or beta and it never got launched but it was super fun. The style was kinda like daoc but the class system in that game was crazy fun. No classes the more you used a skill the better it got. Was a pvp game. Is there anybody that know the name of that game?

SWG like that. Building skills instead of lvls. What genre?

It was kinda like daoc, knights and wizards. Small village and castles, I remember the devs had alot of events during the beta/alpha to. But perhaps it was later on in the 2000, 2004-8 haven't really thought about it till now.
