Sorry for the delay, was meaning to reply to you sooner. The quest markers should be fixed for the next patch, but for now the Banshee's at 40k 45k in Nordland.

You're not meant to do it alone. For the next database patch, however, I have reduced the champion status of the Wraiths to normal mobs.

Pardon my ignorance but how does one turn yr own chars into skeletons and back to normal?

There is an item (a concotion or something) that let's you do that. It's a quest reward for the quest Deadstock, which you can get by talking to a scarecrow near the event quest hubs (see original post for deatils).

Just obtain the currency from the event quests by completing them, and spend the currency as you see fit at the event vendors, located at the Eternal Citadel in IC and the Altdorf Temple in Altdorf.
