do the follow up quests work in conjunction with the "old" bl quests?

e.g.

finished my old quests. slacked and missed deadline. got the gear but not the hunting guid.
will I be able to pick up the quests for them?

Meh, they can group cleanse. That hasn't changed. Dots will still be a thing on the new bosses. Dots are the same on the old bosses. But healers always have a type they can't cleanse so double Dok groups trying to maximize cleanse rotations have their own problems. Removing group cleanse would be really harsh, adding it to other healers in the same manner would just add to the same problems we already see. Nothing to do for this weekend, perhaps it will come up in the Balance forum.

how long this event will last? can i finish quests after they vanish from npcs?

Ends Monday morning EU time. You can turn in completed quests, but cant take new one after.

Do I really need to do every boss over again to take the token quest? Why would I need 2-nd BL set anyways? I miss 2 tokens, but it seems impossible for me to do them because I work all weekend long and can afford to play 1h before sleep
