It would be nice if we could get some info on how long downtimes might be. 15 minutes or 150 minutes would make a difference to my log-in behaviour.

Server was up but one of the processes (the one handling logins) crashed and could not be restarted without restarting the whole server, which is what was done.

Since the battlefronts status is not saved yes its lost.

However the saved contribution you have that you see on the end of a roll is saved after each lock, its only the active zones contribution thats lost.
