handball? it was a legit penalty by the book, doesnt matter u dont seek the ball with it, if u block a shoot and u move ur hands outta ur own body to maximize the max ammount of los block and it does score its penalty.
Same as dumb pique did with the russians.
Croatia was just pissed french destroyed his midfield playing and use the sides to launch counter attacks and scoring.It has happened so many times to the dutchs and lately to the spanish wich is hillarious.
Catenaccio is back and strong.
In all serousnes French team was worse when it was 1:0 and 1:1. They just scored goals which destroyed Croatia morale, they opened the game to be more aggresive and France used theyr few good moments to score another goal. If we talk about activity and gameplay Croatia was deserved winner, but goals matters. Grats for the cup France!

Football was never fair
In Spain we always say what football gives you football takes it away. And in 10-20 years most people will remember not how, just that France won 2018 World Cup. I loved Croatia ( especially when they won England xD )

Congratulations to the French.
Sadly I know few French words to properly express this. The only French I learned was Agincourt, Poitiers, Somme, Ypres and Waterloo (or is that last one Flemish?).
I know trafalgar is probably not French.....
In all seriousness, grats, especialy to the manager making history as winning two world cups first as player and second as manager.
