You probably noticed we have made some tiny changes on forum (mostly about width, logo and background).
If you don't see any difference, CTRL+F5 should refresh your page.
Some part may have some issues, feel free to report it below.

Not that great on an ultra wide screen, too stretched. But I can fix that with the Stylus browser addon.

A bit too much streching imo. Forum is better, but main site got stretched also.

edit: also forum has lots of empty space at the avatar box.

Always nice with something new :)

That being said, a golden rule of written text (both off- and online) is to have a minimum and a maximum for line lengths. This to ensure good readability. Especially when line lengths become too long, readers have trouble following the end of the line back to the start of the next line. This is (partly) also the reason why newspapers use columns rather than spanning the width of a page at "standard" copy font size.

There are lots of articles about this if you aren't going to take my word for it (why should you? :) ). Here are a few:

https://baymard.com/blog/line-length-readability
https://alistapart.com/article/more-mea ... ypography/
https://www.viget.com/articles/the-line ... onception/

... and thousands of other resources about the same both on- and offline.

Cheers :)

Some quick initial expression feedback:
-On the front page the side bar looks very small compared to the text boxes, but that's just probably because there isn't much info currently in there. Also the centered youtube vids in text boxes look weird because the text isn't centered, but it may just be me and will probably get used to it in a month or so
-The forum index looks fine, maybe a little too much empty space in the text boxes. Maybe make them smaller and/or go 3/4 wide?
-The posts themselves look really bizarre with the massive empty space on both sides of the user logo and text starting 1/4th width in
