Thanks for the hint, that seems to work and by setting it to auto both the flickering and shadowing through layers is gone :)

Just to be clear what I did:
1) pressed POS1, dragged MXAO to top of the list
2) right clicked the entry - Edit source code - qUINT_mxao.fx - identified presets in line 53 (1=Low, 2=Very Low ... 8=Auto)
3) went to [RoR folder]\Reshade\Sildurs-Enhanced-WAR-v4.0.1-Default.ini and changed line 264 (MXAO_GLOBAL_SAMPLE_QUALITY_PRESET) from preset 4 (High) to 8 (Auto)

Did you try other options rather then auto? Were they causing same issues?

I used DDU, reinstalled the driver, installed the volcano, threw it into the folder and wrote the path "D:\\Warhammer\\Reshade\\ReShadeVulkan32.json"=dword:00000000
Game with Vulkan won't launch at all. Just a black screen and throws it on the desktop.
Can someone advise?

I assume that's the dxvk for windows implemented with the reshades like those who used in Linux + Vulkan to run RoR ?

How do i know if reshade is working last time i had a green thing that was showing GPU usage and fps now i don't

Tried this but it didn't fix the issue, it just made the MXAO so light that it is difficult to see, but I can tell it is still blinking. Specifically it flickers when I mouse over certain UI elements or models in game, presumably because they also show UI tooltips. In game Reshade says version 5.2.2 so I do not know if I have the wrong version of Reshade somehow?
