Have you tried extracting the game again from the download files? If you don't have them still, download them again and try again.

Same problem here. I've got Eset, but some days before, I was able to play and create characters.

the server seems to online
byt when i use avg antivirus its write to me that because of avg game might not work. i will not reinstall my antivirus to show i am right.
also try to run louncher as administrator and check game version need 1.4.8 v
