Please, Please help me. RoRupdater.exe error

I had the game running just fine. Then the update turned red and i received this error:

Error Downloading updater:
System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found.
at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.EndGetResponse(IAsyncResult asyncResult)
at System.Net.WebClient.GetWebResponse(WebRequest request, IAsyncResult result)
at System.Net.WebClient.DownloadBitsResponseCallback(IAsyncResult result)

I know people have posted this issue and beleive me I have read up and down everything related..
The only resolution seemed to download another RoRupdater.exe..which i did. But the .exe. file
has now changed and run I try to run it alone it says "you can't run this app on this pc". I have tried
registry fixes. System checkers. re-downloaded the torrent several times and YES i change the read-only
option for the seperate folder i copied everything in to... I went back here to download the full game instead and now that link is dead.

What am I doing wrong here? Running on windows 10 home, 64-bit.

Lots of us are having the same issue. Could be an problem with their certificate. Tried setting clock time back but alas to no avail. Its early morning in Europe so hopefully a US dev. is online or an EU dev. should be waking up soon to help us out =)

Getting the exact same problem. Went through all related posts in the forum but all the links that seemed to have helped others are dead. Hope someone can reach out with a solution soon

We waiting on devs to post a valid link to download RoRlauncher.exe so hang in tight unless there is another RoR player that is kind enough to upload his RoRlauncher file for us.

I am having the same issue also. 404 error with the RoRupdater.exe. I thought we could just change the date and it would fix the issue till the devs get a hold of it.

Ok I'm assuming your game needs to be updated then. When was the last time you played?

Max fixed the problem of the OP. Please just run the launcher again.
