What is this?

I am having a very weird problem. I have limited IT training, but the problem seems to be beyond my skill level. In addition, I do not seem able to upload a screenshot of the problem. I should be able to send the screenshot via another platform to whoever looks this over. In the meantime, I'll describe the problem as follows.

First, I launch the RoR launcher. Second, I immediately see a window open on my computer. Third, I look over a massive window filled with varied texts. Examples being:System.Xml (Repeats) followed be end of inner exception stack trace, followed by system configuaration, internalconfig root, threading eceception, application.RunDispatcher (Object ignore.) End of exception stack trace.

I get the following impressions from this. One, the RoR launcher is conflicting with my system or vise versa. Two, their may be a network conflict taking place.

Note:I could be completely wrong. I mention these details one because like I said, the site won't let me upload a screenshot for some reason and two because I'm looking at this and trying to understand it.

Thank you so much for giving me a legit answer. A part of me thought about simply reinstalling the game and I think I'm just going to go ahead and do that. I posted this info mainly due to curiosity, I didn't think about the installation being corrupted. I will definitely document this info after I reinstall the game assuming it works. IF not, i'll come back here with an update. I'll mark this resolved if it resolves itself.

Depending on the error message specifics this could also be a error in a launcher generated file.
That is if there is reference in the file path to appdata or similar.
If re-installl does not fix it , post a picture of the error message or copy it. Will help a lot

The issue is still persisting after the launcher was uninstalled and reinstalled.

Also, I want to apologize for not being as well organized as I could have been. Despite some of the knowledge I have, I'm clearly not that great with computers. Hopefully, that will change in the future.

So, basically that suggests to me that the launcher is trying to parse that xml file (user.config) which has an invalid character in it and therefore it fails.

Try opening a file explorer ( [windows] + e ), type "%appdata%" in the address bar without the quotes. Navigate one backwards (pressing the AppData part in the address line), then navigate down to the path at "Local\Return_of_Reckoning\DefaultDomain_Path_aixn4cfe3ps0pnmdcfqofdwkzmzckq1m\3.3.2.9". Then move the user.config file out to your desktop and try to start the game again.

My guess is the file will be recreated automatically and hopefully without the error. Do note i am guessing here, but as you are completely unable to play i guess you don't really have anything to lose from trying
