Return of Reckoning

I downloaded the game, patched and played for about 2 hours. when I came back after exiting out all the way, the launcher has to download like 200k files. is this normal? that's going to take a while even though I was just playing. is there something I can do to speed it up after it checks the manifest

This isn't normal, but has been reported a few times. Some players are able to log back in just fine, others can't log in at all.

The typical fix is to reinstall the game but ensure you follow the guide extremely closely as this shouldn't happen.
