Return of Reckoning

Hello dear Warhammer-enthusiasts.

I played WAR since closed beta and now, that I stumbled over this, I am "on fire" again.
I just have one problem D: I installed the game and try to run it, but after the patching, two erros occur: 1. binkw32.dll and 2. mss32.dll. Both files could not be found. Further it says: a new installation could fix the problem. In the YouTube-tutorial it is said, that you jast have to start the application over and over, until nothing more is patching.

Can you help me?

here is a short how-to download and install the game:

How to Download:
- Recommend Torrent Tixati: http://www.tixati.com/
- First step, disable your Antivirus, Firewall, or Malware detection programs. These can potentially interfere with an install.
- Download torrent file: https://www.returnofreckoning.com/files ... 20.torrent
- Run the Torrent file, with the Torrent app, and wait until it finishes.

How to Install:
- Stop your Torrent from seeding (close it)
- Go into folder properties of the game, uncheck read only
(Right click your folder > properties > uncheck read only)
- Swap launcher.exe existing in the folder
- Move the whole RoR folder to c:\
- Go into launcher.exe properties and uncheck the unblock check box on the bottom, apply
- Remove write protect on everything in game folder and subdirectories
- If you don't have DirectX 9.0c, installed it is required, and now this is also included in the torrent.
In the ReturnOfReckoning-March2020 folder find the dx90c folder, open that and run DXSETUP.exe
- Run launcher as Admin
(Right click the RoR updater > properties > run administrator)
- Let it update
- Exit launcher and rerun it again
- Wait for 2nd update
- Launch the game

If there are still issues:
- Check your Antivirus program, and white list RoR
- Uncheck all "Read Only" in the whole directory
- Don’t use the program files area, place it somewhere else like c:\ror... as windows will write protect this area again, probably on pc restart . Once you move it remove write protect.
- Maybe a simple PC restart do some wonder
- If you only see some weapons and no character models, just use the repair function (launcher > gear > repair)
- Redownload the Launcher http://launcher.returnofreckoning.com/RoRLauncher.exe

Thank you for that guide, but...

Sadly it didn't help. I did everything as suggested, but I have the same issue. Both .dll-files are missing.

Isn't there anything I can do?

Yeah, I did.

It runs now, but after a few minutes, the game crashes to desktop.

Change to 64 bit in your launcher.

I did it, hooray!

Runs stable, at least for now.
Say, are any Germans here? I'd really be stoked, if there are.
