- Fixed t1 campaign reset (again)
- All objectives now require to be fully secured to lock a battlefront (no timer displayed)
- Fixed defensive ticks scaling, mainly improving values in elf and dwarf pairings
- If a battlefront is locked, a portal spawns on each objective, and allows player to return back to their warcamp. Disabled when in fight.
- If a battlefront is active, a portal spawns in the warcamp when an objective is fully secured with no opponents around. Those portals can be used by players every 5 seconds, to avoid full warbands spawning on objectives.

Yes we flipped the zone early, no we don't feel bad. It was a better outcome than no one getting anything for the zone. :)

Eheh I try to make them all operational !

Now we can assign multiple creatures in a single pq objective , it seems I'll have more work !

Not working. Bos are not becoming 'locked'?

-If a battlefront is locked, a portal spawns on each objective, and allows player to return back to their warcamp. Disabled when in fight.
Since Bos dont appear to be locking this functionality is not working.

-If a battlefront is active, a portal spawns in the warcamp when an objective is fully secured with no opponents around. Those portals can be used by players every 5 seconds, to avoid full warbands spawning on objectives.
This one works. Am able to transport from WC to bo if players are active on Bo.


Something drastic needs to be done about players not switching zones when they are locked. Like turn them into a chicken, a tree, a rock.. something that lets them know HEY this is not where you wanna be.. (maybe no skills/abilities work, red out like in debolster)

People still hanging out in masses in locked zones.. Not sure if they are going for kill quest (which kills dont apply in locked zone) or if they are being that dumb on purpose? .. And not to sound like an ass Love the changes! :mrgreen:

BOs no more lock before entire zone is locked. They become "fully secured" when the timer is no more displayed, meaning defensive ticks are dropping. "Fully secured" is not "Locked". We will improve display when new patcher will come so that players understand better the objective state.

When all BOs are "fully secured" : zone locks. Maybe we may change that and return to previous behavior : lock when 50% zone control and all BOs red/blue...

Note : We did that to avoid entire areas in zones being emptied from time to time because of locked objectives (understand limit zerg).

Same answer, BOs lock when whole zone is locked.

I fully agree, that's a problem. That was the purpose of objective -> warcamp portals. We did not wanted to turn people to chicken or automatically port them to warcamp because the may want to do the heroes, do quests, or whatever.

Your "skill red out" idea seems very for me, especially because we can "unred" them when approaching a hero. Another idea may port players to warcamp when they kill someone (with a huge message middle of the screen)... I prefer your idea.
I promise you I'll talk to Yaliska about that ! (he's on job travel atm but should come back this week)

Was there an unannounced change to rift on magus in this last patch? Since the patch the range and effectiveness of rift has improved a lot. The pull seems to have a slightly higher angle allowing it to make pulls it couldn't before, and the range seems to have increased a further ~30ft. Allowing players to be pulled beyond 100ft. It is now significantly different from engi pull in effectiveness, and it largely ignores obstructions like fences, rocks, and trees, unlike other pulls.

It is pretty noticeable if you get an engi / magus, both with flame turrets down, and then have them try to pull each other and others at max range. It is much easier now to pull from walls than before, and a little bit of z axis height seems to negate any kind of physical blocking.

It feels like a very focused change, rather than an unexpected accident. If that's not the case I will bug report it later.
