78 is a pretty low number for a guild (including alts)

that's alot of kicking

yep have had unable to log in correctly sometimes, and crash on zone swap (ostland) recently

note that the max number is 77, not 78. If u have 78 members u gna get the bug likewise

thanks already kicked aprox 38 characters earlier and started work on another alt guild for them :lol:

Id suggest kicking all alts while testing this and see if the issues disappear, if its solved with this limit then we can try and solve it and in the meantime if you want to communicate more then you need to make more guilds and have the subguilds in an alliance.

77 active people is still plenty, thats 3 full WB

EDIT: ofc if the issue persist with guilds with 77 or less members then the limit will be removed and we will go on into looking at other ideas what it may be

already started that process earlier... half way to level 2 :D just need to grind allt guild to lvl 6 over the next few days (depends how hard we go at it) and that is quick fix solution :)

Also does the size of the roster effect the ratio of xp intake for guild for leveling? I want to raise guild rank as fast as possible in alt guild... so its better to have a few active and xp like crazy? than have a bloated inactive roster of "stored" characters? or there is no effect?

Ok, have had none of these issues but will have to cull my herd of 300 Guild members. Guess it will be time to get creative with new guild names.

On live it had an effect in favour of guilds with very active players.
As all activities earn guild xp the ratio of guild size and number of active players had an effect on the xp gains.
Probably used as a balance mechanism that big size guilds don't level too fast unless all are active and smaller guilds still have a chance to rank up.
Maybe each individual players earned xp is scaled down the more players are in guild.
I don't know about this server.

So will pet's in defensive auto attack anything that hits their owner regardless of LoS? Not all abilities need LoS to hit, for example magus Firestorm does not need LoS atm to cast, and even if that gets changed you could still aim it at a corner and hit people you can't see around the corner.

All abilities need LoS to hit... Or the should at least. Your pet is not a pet per-se, it's a construct that you control. (yeah, that's good, that'll keep him busy)

For people worrying about their currently huge guilds, you only need to pare them down to size if you're having issues with your guild. If you're not having issues with your guild, don't worry about it for now. (unless you're recruiting I guess)
